Looking Ahead: REND Nottingham 2026

Join us for an evening of inspirational speakers, networking and a meal at the Racial Equity Network Dinner.

In May 2024, Creative Education Trust hosted REND Northampton, our first Racial Equity Network Dinner — an evening shaped by honest conversation, shared experiences, and a genuine commitment to improving racial equity across our schools.

As we look forward to REND Nottingham on 1 May 2026 at Goosedale, we’re building on the reflections, ideas, and voices that shaped our first event.

Attendees can expect inspiring speakers, opportunities for discussion, and dedicated moments for personal reflection:

As we prepare for Nottingham, we continue to explore questions such as:

  • How do we embed diversity, equity, and inclusion into professional development?
  • What does meaningful representation look like across our leadership structures?
  • How do our curriculum resources, displays, and library collections reflect the identities and experiences of all learners?

These questions help shape the ongoing work of schools, trusts, and teachers across the system.

To capture the range of voices and reflections from the event, we have created a short playlist from REND Northampton:
