Creative Education Trust colleagues were proud to play a key role in facilitating the continued growth of the Racial Equity Network Dinner, known as REND, as the movement returned with its first Nottingham event in May 2026.
Students across Creative Education Trust were given an unforgettable insight into the world of criminal law as they took part in our first trust‑wide mock trial experience, delivered in partnership with The Kalisher Trust. Held at Wrenn School and Bulwell Academy, the two events immersed Year 10 students in a fully simulated courtroom environment, complete with evidence bundles, defence strategies and practising barristers by their side.
This academic year marked the launch of our trust‑wide Early Career Teacher Programme (ECTP), designed in close partnership with Ambition Institute and delivered by expert colleagues from across Creative Education Trust. Since the introduction of the national Early Career Framework, our focus has been clear: to offer new teachers a consistent, empowering induction experience grounded in collaboration, high‑quality development, and our values of ambition, equity and opportunity.

Today, Year 11 students across the country—and in each of the eleven secondary schools in our network—are receiving their exam results. We are incredibly proud of the hard work, resilience, and ambition they’ve shown throughout the exam season and in the months leading up to it.
