Creative Education Trust Launches STEM on Track Programme

Creative Education Trust is proud to announce the launch of STEM on Track, an innovative programme from Espire Education that brings science, technology, engineering and maths to life for students in the most exciting way possible.

In November, students from several CET secondary schools gathered at Wilton Mills Go Kart Racing Track to kick off the project. The day combined hands-on engineering with real-world learning, giving students the chance to:

  • Build their own racing karts from the ground up
  • Apply real-world maths and science to every component
  • Develop critical skills such as teamwork, oracy and problem-solving

The programme goes beyond engineering. It connects classroom learning to real-world applications, inspires future careers, and unlocks opportunities for young people to engage with industry professionals.

As part of the launch, CET worked with Espire Education to deliver a bespoke Dragons’ Den event, where students pitched their ideas to business leaders—developing confidence, communication skills and entrepreneurial thinking.

STEM on Track is available to schools nationwide, and Creative Education Trust schools will have a major presence at the National Finals in June, where students will race their completed karts and showcase their learning journey.
