Inspectors found that pupils enjoy attending school, describing behaviour as "excellent" and noting that bullying and discrimination "are not accepted". The report highlights the academy's calm and purposeful environment, where pupils understand expectations, work hard in lessons and feel a strong sense of belonging within the school community.

The inspection also recognises the academy's ambitious and well-planned curriculum, which helps pupils develop the knowledge and skills needed for the next stage of their education. Inspectors found that pupils are well prepared for secondary school and benefit from a broad range of opportunities beyond the classroom.

Pupils at Wroughton Junior Academy take part in a rich programme of enrichment activities, including sports clubs, debating opportunities, careers-related learning and wider aspiration activities. The report also highlights the school's inclusive culture. Inspectors found that pupils with special educational needs and disabilities are fully included in school life and are supported effectively to succeed alongside their peers.

The inspection follows a period of significant improvement at the academy. Inspectors recognised the impact of stable leadership, growing confidence among families and sustained support from Creative Education Trust in helping to strengthen outcomes and experiences for pupils.
