Great Leaps Forward

Celebrating Year 11 results from East to West

Creative Education Trust schools from Stoke-on-Trent in the northwest to Great Yarmouth in the east are celebrating the results of Year 11’s GCSE results. The improvements of the last two years have been sustained, with significant leaps forward in the results at both the standard grade 4 pass and the strong grade 5 pass.

Abbeyfield has leapt forward in both measures in English and mathematics. A strong performance in English at Lynn Grove and Weavers is clear in a further rise in standard passes. The Hart School, Thistley Hough and Weavers have all shown significant increases in mathematics at the higher grade 5 level.

Director of Education Philip Cantwell commented, “It’s very pleasing to witness schools that have improved significantly since joining Creative Education Trust continuing to make advances. Of course the better you are, the harder that gets!
