Examinations Results 2020


After an unprecedented year in which schools were closed and public examinations did not take place, Creative Education Trust congratulates every year 11 and year 13 pupil for their tenacity in completing the necessary requirements of their courses of study. A sample of the outstanding results include:

  • Kamile Ebanks from Abbeyfield School who achieved four A*s at A Level, and will read Computing at UCL;
  • The 100% pass rate of Ash Green School students in Level 3 BTEC courses plus outstanding A-level performance from Ryan Karibwami (A*, A*, A) who will read Computer Science at University of Manchester (pictured above) and Paige Atherton (A*, A*, B, A) who will read Archaeology at Durham University;
  • The Bulwell Academy’s 100% pass rate in sixth form BTEC Level 3 results and 76% of all grades awarded at Distinction* or Distinction;
  • Jess Collins at Caister Academy who will be attending East Norfolk Sixth Form College after achieving seven grade 9s, one grade 8, one grade 6 and a distinction in her GCSEs;
  • Two Lynn Grove Academy students, Jamie Secker and Charlotte Gray who achieved all grade 9s in their GCSEs;
  • 20% of Milton Keynes Academy students achieved a grade 7 or above in the English Literature and English Language GCSEs, including Molly who gained a grade 9 in both (pictured below);
  • Daniel Johnston (A*, A, A, A and B) from Weavers Academy will be reading General Engineering at Durham University, while Mae Campbell who achieved seven grade 9s, a level 2 Distinction* and one grade 7 in her GCSEs will be taking French, Psychology and English Literature at A Level;
  • Wrenn School celebrated over 60 A*-A grades and a 100% pass rate for year 13 students, including outstanding performances from Dawid Koscielniak (A*, A*, A*, A, A) who has been accepted to the University of Oxford to read Geography and Nichola Charlton (A*, A*, A* A, Distinction) who aims to use her A Level results as a stepping stone to an academic career starting with a Physics and Astrophysics MSci at the University of Birmingham.
